The Placement and Career Counseling cell of Lal Bahadur Shastri College, satara has taken upon itself the onerous yet fulfilling task of assisting the students bettering their career prospect by providing them need based and result oriented activities that help achieve their needs. The Cell of college aims at creating awareness of career and provides information that helps the students to give a direction to their aspirations and interests. The Cell helps the students to achieve self reliance through employment and entrepreneurship. The Placement and Career Counseling cell organize various types of programs like Mock interviews, Group discussion, Soft skills development; Career Counseling, Entrepreneurship Guidance, Campus Interview and Interactive sessions by the eminent persons in respective fields are conducted regularly. The Cell has dedicated to promoting the spirit of “Enter to learn and leave to achieve”.

Placement and Career Counselling Report

  1. On 11/08/2022 Campus Drive has been organized in association with ‘Chougule Industries, Satara’. 87 students has been participated. 32 students among them were selected. Honorable Awatade and honorable Ranadive sir guided students.
  2. ‘Certificate Curse in Tax Accountant Plus (Tally)’ has been organized by Online and offline mode in association with‘Satyam Institute of Tax Accountant, Mumbai’.19 students completed the course. 
  1. On 07th 2022 Campus Drive has been organized in association with ‘Institute of Banking And Finance Skill Academy’for ICICI Bank. 146 students participated and out of them 21 students have been primarily selected. Honourable Vivek Ajamane guided students.
  1. On 24th 2023 a Seminar on ‘Success Mantra-Intelligence and Skill’ has been organized in association with ‘Nilya Foundation, Pune’.
  1. Under Corporate Social Responsibility, Skill Development Training Programme has been organized in association with ‘Global Talent Track Foundation’ Pune. Training was organized between 11th& 18th 2023. 62 students has been participated. 46 students have been selected.
  1. Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Online Job fair has been organized in association with District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre Satara dated on 1st July to 17th July 2021. 173 students were participated from college.

 

  1. On 10th 2021 a seminar on “Career Opportunities in Airlines and Aviation Industry Sector” has been organized.

 

  1. On 1st 2022 a lecture on “MBA Career Opportunities” has been organized. Dr. M. B. Bhosale guided students.

 

  1. On 6th May 2022 a lecture on “Personality Development& Interview skill” has been organized on 28th 2022 guidance lecture on “Entrepreneurship Development – Career Opportunities” has been organized. Prof. S. M. Shelar and G. R. Waske guided

students.

 

  1. During the year Omkar Education Society provided training to 34 students for placement Purpose.
  1. Campus interview has been organized as on 25th 2021 in association of Ecogreen Biosciences Pvt. Ltd. for the posts of Quality Controller officer, Microbiologist, Research & Development Officer. 126 students were participated and 10 students were selected.

 

  1. Students Participated in Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Online Job fair organized by District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre Satara dated on 1st July to 17th July 2021.

 

  1. Online Employment Card registration program has been conducted as on 17/02/2021 in Association of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre, Satara.

On 22-08-2019 District level Job fair (Maharojagar Melava) organized in association with District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center, Satara. District Officer Shweta Singhal was Chief Guest for Inauguration for Job Fair. 21 companies and 445 students participated in this Job fair. 144 students were selected in Campus Interview.

                            On 16-09-2019 Placement Cell organized Multiple Intelligence Test in association with IIBM Group Centre for Dermatologlyphics Multiple Intelligence. 52 students participated in this test.

  • On 10th 2018 an Expert lecture of Mr. Vaibhav Dalvi on the subject “Business Opportunities” has been organized.

 

  • On 18th 2018 a Campus Interview was organized in association with of ICICI Bank. Total 163 students Participated & 24 students were selected as Sales Officer. Selection made with written Test & Interview process. Recruitment Manager Mr. Nilesh Kale and Vivek Aajmane guided students.

 

  • On 16th 2018 a Workshop on “Women Skill Development’ has been organized in association with Vivekanand Kendra Satara, in which 25 students were participated.

 

  • On 6th 2018 Bharatiy Sanskrit Examination has been organized in association with Vivekanand Kendra Satara.

 

  • On 10th Jan 2019 Job Fair has been organized in association with Satara Nagarparishad Satara and District Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Employment Guidance Centre, Satara. Nagaradhyaksha Sou. Madhavi Kadam and Chief Officer Shri. Shankar Gore were chief guest of Inauguration Program. In this Job Fair 32 various companies were participated. 865 Students were participated and out of this 328 students primary selected through interviews. Out of this 22 students of our college.
