Department At Glance

                   Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Santha’s ,Kolhapur , Lal Bahadur Shastri college, Satara has established in 1967.Department of  Political Science established on the same year. Our college celebrated golden jubilee year in 2016-17. Our department is well known for better education in humanities. All departmental activities and co-curricular are student centric. This department is equipped with better teaching –learning instruments computer with internet facility, departmental library etc. The department of   Political Science offers under-graduate specialization course (B.A. Political Science) recognized by Shivaji University, Kolhapur . At special level for Second year and third year of their three years undergraduate course in this subject, students get deeper understanding of the subject and branches like Indian Constitution, Governmental processes in India, Indian Political Thought, Panchyat Raj, Western Political Thought,  Political Theory, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Public Administration.
