B.A. in English Programme Specific Outcomes 

After completion of  the  programme, the students will able to:

1. Demonstrate knowledge of literature and English Language.
2. Identify and use Fundamental concepts and theories in literary criticism to interpret literary texts
3. Analyze language at different language levels (phonological, morphological, syntactic etc.)
4. Show zeal for creativity by writing novels, poetry, drama etc.

 

M.A. in English Programme Specific Outcomes 

After completion of the  programme, the students will able to:

1. Demonstrate Critical knowledge of English literary texts ranging from Anglo-Saxon period to the present date.
2. Apply critical theories to interpret literary texts.
3. Demonstrate common knowledge of linguistic universals.
4. Analyze language at different language levels (Semantic and discourse etc.)

Course Outcome (Certificate Course in Basic English Grammar)

• Students will heighten their awareness of the correct usage of English grammar in writing and speaking
• Students will improve their speaking ability in English both in terms of fluency and
  comprehensibility
• Students will give oral presentations and receive feedback on their performance

Course Outcome (Certificate course in Basic German Language)

• To introduces learners to diverse cultures, ways of expression and communication with other speakers of the foreign language
• To enhance literacy development in both the official languages and the foreign language.
