Department at Glance

Welcome to the department of Mathematics at Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Satara The department started in 1967 together with the establishment of College.

The vision of the department is to become a Centre of excellence in Mathematics through high quality teaching And to emerge as a global center of learning, academic excellence, and innovative research. Along with to provide learning opportunities of unmatched breadth and depth.

Department has the well-equipped laboratory with a computer facility. Department conduct seminars, wallpaper presentation, unit test, home assignment and study tour. Projects are given to every student of B.Sc-III. Departmental library is available with 190 books. excellent academic results. Majority students go to P.G. Courses. Guest lectures of the eminent personality are organized for the students to develop their overall personality.
