Department at Glance

         The Department of Botany was established in 1967 as under graduate course. From 2007, we have newly started UGC Career oriented  courses under UGC COC Scheme like Integrated Pest Management, Biodiversity and its Conservation   and self funded courses like Mushroom Cultivation and traing program on Ecotourisn of Kaas Plateau.    Department is involved in DST-FIIST , DBT and Community College programs of Centarl Government  Presently four faculty are  Ph. D holders .    The department of Botany is the prime department of our College Costantly involved in Environmental Cosiousness activities.   Mr. Shekhar Mohite from department plays important role to include Kaas Plateau under world Natural Heritahe site and its conservation.
